Henry is a filmmaker and arts organizer born in raised in Charlotte, NC. He’s directed and produced documentary films that uplift a message of hope and equality for all. With a degree from Tulane University in social impact/entrepreneurship – Henry is helping direct the LoveBolt’s creative initiatives. Frustrated by years spent in isolated white bubbles, he’s motivated to help Charlotte become a truly inclusive and equitable city for all its members.
McKenzie was born and raised in Alexandria, VA. He’s helped organize and run several media based businesses around the country. McKenzie’s helping LoveBolt implement strategies and systems so it may perform with efficiency and fluidity. McKenzie grew up in a diverse family and witnessed racism towards his black siblings. He spends much of his free time reading books about systemic racism in the US and wants to help make our country more inclusive towards others who aren’t white.
Pilar is an artist born in New York, New York. She creates multi-media work that focuses on social injustice. She currently attends Yale University where she is double majoring in Art and Anthropology. She also does research and editorial work at MoMA PS1 in New York City. Pilar work on Lovebolts social image. She is invested in creating spaces for Black creatives and community allyship.
